B'day wishes to my guy and other ramblings...

Baby, I know I’ve said this over and over, but I'll say it again anyways... you are a blessing to me and I love you!

My guy is a writer, as I'm sure at least some of you know, whereas I on the other hand, am not... at least, not YET! That's right, after years of swearing that I'd never write a D/Hr fic of my own, lately I've found myself wondering more and more... what if I did?

So, the question that I'm sure you're asking yourself now is... why? (Actually, I very much doubt that you're asking yourself that, most likely you're thinking, 'what is she on???' But I think 'why?' is an easier question to answer, so that's what I'm gonna do )

I've been reading D/Hr fanfiction for YEARS now and I have often dreamt up a plot bunny or two from time to time, just little ideas that I'd like to see realized in a story. In the past, not being an author myself, I've always passed these plot bunnies off to some of the authors I know and, in each case, I've been absolutely blown away by what they came up with. Now, I dunno if having an author for a boyfriend is rubbing off on me or what, but lately I've been reconsidering giving it a go myself. I'm not sure though, see, I know that if I were to ever write a D/Hr fic, I'd want to take my time and make sure that it was done right. I just don't know if I even have enough time at the moment, what with all the stuff I have on my plate.

So, thats about enough rambling from me. I don't even know why I posted this to tell the truth, I haven't even decided to write a story yet. Hopefully, my schedule will allow me to... *crosses fingers*

Yeah, I was wondering why you don't write fics. Ah well. Hopefully your schedule loosens up so you can go write a juicy bdsm fic. Or whatever you have in mind. Heehee! Can't wait... ^__^ *hugs*

In the past, some people have mistaken me for an author. I have no idea why, and to be honest, it kinda surprised me coz I'd never even hinted at writing a fic, but now I dunno... I guess I just figured, what the hell, why not take the plunge? Now, if only I could find the time...

Baby, what can I say? Its YOU that is the blessing to me, really, I am the luckiest guy on the planet and I want everyone to know that!! I love you SOOOO much baby, and I will treasure your gifts to me forever, I swear.

Oh, and btw, speaking as someone who knows just how good your story ideas tend to be, believe me when I say that you should DEFINATELY write your own D/Hr!!! The fandom won't know what hit it :P

Well, I think its about time that I signed out, I'm still a lil ropey after our bday celebrations ;) (You know what I mean!)

Seriously, I don't know if I'll be able to write one or not... Never fear though, it will be suitably pimped if and when I do!

I happen to think Rob is a very gifted writer, and I'm glad you agree. But really, he's just a sweet guy! (and we both know they're not easy to find )

Maybe by putting this out there, and telling people that you want to. Will make you want to do it more, if that makes sense! I've had things I've wanted to do before, but just kept it to myself, but if I'd told people I probably would have been more inclined to do it. I think that makes sense.

I hope you do get the courage and the time to do it. I have no doubt that you will have a legion of supporters if/when you do!

Courage, I have (and a very supportive and slightly pushy boyfriend ~ which is nice ), but time just seems to keep slipping through my fingers lately.

Hopefully, my sched will ease up soon and then I'll be able to get to work. Thanks for the vote of confidence, Mandi! *huggles*

I'm sure Rob will appreciate your bday wishes when he sees them. Btw, I know it's silly, but seeing you call him wonderful makes me feel really proud, coz he is... to me at least.

As a frustrated writer (because I, like you, have very little time to put forth on writing) I sympathize. Those plot bunnies bite you but you never seem to have the time to flesh out the story.

Good luck to you Raffy! You have given so much to the D/Hr fandom, don't feel you have to do anything other than what you are doing right now. Follow your dreams - where ever they take you.
